10 people got killed in constuction site A because someone messed up and 100 people killed in contruction site B because someone made the same mistake.
Yes, many more people died in B but the amount that died in A is still stupid high.
I know that piracy is higher in the other areas but 20% is still a really high number. Just because NA has the lowest number does not mean that the number is an acceptable amount.

Obviously 20% is not a really high number, it's a really low number. It's as low as it gets, at least for the now. If the recession ends, it'll drop, because for the most part piracy is related to the number of people who can afford the software they want.
Oh, and your example is terrible. If a given type of accident could kill 10 or 100 people I'd be happy as can be that it was only ten. Yeah, people dying isn't exacly a good outcome, but it's better than a lto more people dying any day of the week.

I don't think you're getting what I'm telling you. I'm not saying 10 people dead is as bad as 100 people dead or that 20% is as bad as 50%, I'm just saying 20% is still a really high number. That is all.
Going back to my bad construction site example, 10 people died at one site and 100 people died at the other. Going from what you said, you seem to think the 10 people dying is alright because that's as low as it gets. That may be preferable, but it still isn't right. I think that's where you're getting confused.

Twesterm, lets say that in order to save the 100 people, you had to kill the other 10 people. Which would you choose?
Clearly 10 people dying is the good choice! What if the 20% of piracy we have is to save us from having 80% of piracy and a nuclear halocaust?
Now you can see why 20% piracy is a good thing!
