Pretty much, although that can be blamed on a very poor director *cough uwe boll cough*. I'm just hoping that Video-games can be turned into a movie media that can be actually ya-know. Good. Take Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, it's a movie based on a video-game and it turned out amazing. Granted that it was made by Square-enix themselves. But the point of the matter is that there is potential in video-games to make amazing movie series, and if anything. It'll just boost the gaming industry more.
