Can anybody tell me why Metal Gear Solid 4 will come to the 360?

1) You think it will sell 2M??? Wow...

2) Cheap as port??? Don't care who said it, you or GebX, the game was stated to be highly optimized for PS3, not to mention the installs and all the PS references they have to remove.

3) Double the profit??? How much proift do you think they made with the PS3 version??? 4 Million + shipped... Even if they only make 25$ for each copy sold, that's $100M in revenue if the game has hit 4M... b4 launch they stated that they needed to sell 1M to break even... if they make 25$ per copy that's 25M budget. So we can say that they've made atleast $75M in pure profit for the PS3 version if we go by this.... You think a 1 year late port to 360 will produce $150M+ in profit??

This hasn't been proved EVER & never will

PS3 is not some superior being with greater technology & MGS4 is a game EASILY done on the Xbox 360 (if RE5 was possible why not MGS4)

So stop the MGS4 is "optimized" for PS3 hype/rubbish.....its getting OLD now

 

 

Feeling a bit in-secure there man??? Did I say the PS3 is superior??? NO. I said it was difference... Works difference and different programming methods have do be used to develop for it compared to PC and 360... which I thought was a well known fact... EDIT: RE5 wasn't developed with only a single platform in mind like MGS4 was, now was it??? It didn't require an install between chapters/acts... now did it??? Did I say it can't be done??? NO. I asked would it be worth it going through all the trouble.... think it can cover the cost and post a profit decent enough to warrant the work?? Seems like you think it can post a 150M$ profit...
