@ Lafiel & axumblade

I disagree with both of you to an extent. I own and loved MGS4 on the PS3, but I still want it to come to the 360. Why? Two reasons.

1) I don't give a shit about individual consoles, so it doesn't affect me either way

2) I was very amused with the backlash after FFXIII, and I would enjoy if a similar thing happened this year

Fanboys on both sides are equally as pathetic, but you can't blame the people who just want to see the internet erupt in madness again.

I never said I wouldn't want MGS4 to come to the 360. I think it's not unreasonable to believe it will come and if it indeed does that wouldn't be a bad thing in my opinion (it would only be a bad thing if it was a bad port, but knowing Kojima-san he'll likely won't let that happen again).

People who want to see the swearing, name-calling and pure aggression afterwards are likely to believe they were better than the "fanboys" who are fighting it out, although they stand on the exact same level as these. I think they are more pathetic, because often these very same individuals who were amused by the show claim moral high ground afterwards, which is just wrong.

Being caught up in the idocy that is the fanboy console wars is what I would call pathetic. Buying a console because of the brand name and not because of the games and then viciously defending said console to justify your purchase is pathetic. Getting depressed because your "console of choice" loses an exclusive is pathetic.

Not getting involved while watching the madness ensue is entertainment. I think claiming the moral high ground is perfectly legitimate because it would mean that I am above mindlessly fighing with others about about which console is teh bestz.

That's just my opinion though.
