But if they made a SRW with Code Geass and Eureka Seven and such that'd be awesome. I really like Gurren Lagann as well but not sure if that's popular...

All the ones you never heard about are like the grandfathers of mecha anime including Macross. =P Gurren lagann is also huge just people in VGC dont like it "cough"Luinil*cough*
