Having said that, I wouldn't be that surprised if sales were lower this year, especially due to the recession. I was never too convinced that the gaming industry wouldn't feel the impact as many believed. Not all the unemployed people will buy a console.

Well that and now that Wii are in stock everywhere customers do not feel compelled to buy one when they see one....

But in that thread you said the Wii will be 50% down year-over-year during several weeks of Q2... which is nowhere near happening if I'm seeing the numbers right.
