More evidence points to Lost Planet 2 hitting the PS3

why do you say that? if you look at the sales of the first one on the 360 compared to that of the ps3 you will see.

xbox 360;1.76 million

ps3;.42 million

and that is without colonies editions sales

Well the PS3 version of Lost Planet was a late port.

Take a look at Rainbow Six Vegas.

The first one was a late port for the PS3, it arrived 7 months after the 360 version.

Sales.

360: 1.94 million

PS3: 0.48 million

Then Rainbow Six Vegas 2 which launched on both consoles at the same time.

360: 1.98 million

PS3: 1.10 million

Notice how the 360 version sold roughly the same, while the PS3 version more then doubled in sales.
