non-traditional. Traditional fighters suck all the fun out of everything.

Ahhh don't get pissed because you don't like games that demand some sort of skill games. Non-traditional fighters are serious button mashers. Traditional is fun for moderates and advanced fighter fans win or lose, because they like the challenge.
|
Its actually the other way around. Traditional fighters have a lower skill difference because of the limit to set combos and auto-lock. Whereas a game like melee or brawl have things thrown in that effect gameplay such as: use of staging (what shape the ledges are can affect your gameplay and amount of platforms), spacing, DI reading (are they going to go left or right?) and the free ability to make combos yourself without there being set in stone ones.

Wait...did you just mean to tell me that you used Brawl as an example of why non-traditional fighters are supposedly better than Traditional fighters?.....WOW....brawl cannot even begin to step in the boots of Tekken and Street Fighter. If Street Fighter and Tekken wore boots, Brawl would wear ballet slippers or tap dance shoes.

Good example. Boots are simple, sturdy, and for slow working men. Ballet and Tap require speed and skill.

No....thats not what I meant. Tekken requires more skill than SSMB. Thats a childs game, just like Naruto and DBZ. I like playing it at times, but it's no Tekken. To even put it in Tekkens league is an insult. DBZ and Naruto are beat 'em ups, which allow for finishers and evasions based on timed-commands (A very controlled level of gameplay). SSMB is a fun game which can have strategy, but is very simple; just keep raising your opponents hit percentage and they'll fly off in the stratusphere. Tekken has too many levels of players and isn't linear in its point. Tekken is a tournament style fighter, which the best play.....likewise for Street Fighter.
