I dont know why you guys fighting over this attachment rate thing and bash on the lower attachment rate system.

I think the original post picked an biased month, when high profile or high hyped title was released during sept for ps3 and the wii basically got nothing except carry over from last month metroid prime 3.

I dont know if attachment ratio is really that important to 3rd party developers, if you look at the 120mil user base from ps2, you'll be lucky if you get 2% attachment ratio on it. So whats the point getting on frenzy over the attachment ratio right now, when developer clearly will consider the user base first.

The lower your user base the higher risk developer have to take, and the higher the user base the lower risk. its simple logic.

at current user base for ps3 even if developer able to acheive a 15-20% attach ratio on their game dont look good, and its a huge risk hoping a game will have that kind of high attachment ration. As we saw from recent high profile game from ps3 failed to reach 500k mark, and thats like 10% attach ration from current user base. Now you see the huge risk developer have to take for making game on the ps3.
