NPD's numbers for September will have 5 weeks counted.

Also find it odd that Halo 3 didn't drive that many sales in North America for the week when it doubled sales in the UK* which has a fairly similar market for the 360.

Dude I've been saying that every time I could. UK userbase is 1/5th of the userbase in America. Halo 3 sold 460k compared to around 2.6 in America. That's almost exactly 1/5th. Then the hardware doubles in UK but here, where it's 80x more popular, it only increases 19%? Blasphemy!!

Its worth noting that 4 (5?) weeks ago, the 360 sales in the US were 66k. So they have basically doubled.

The US has seen a more gradual ramp up of 360 sales - due to Madden, Bioshock, Stranglehold, price cut, etc.

The effect of those on 360 sales in Europe hasn't been as strong.
