I always found puzzling that the wii has been selling like crazy for 2+ years and just for a couple of months of NOT THAT LOW sales and suddenly "the trend is going downwards"? what about america and europe? does that sales doesn't count anymore?

US and European sales have been falling as well. The Wii marketshare has been falling everywhere.

Yes, but not at 50% market share. And they are also lower than the 4-5 respective weeks last year. The point is Wii sales have slowed everywhere, not just in Japan.
