the demo is ready, FOR THE PS3, but they are delaying it until they get 360 version done , and they just started doing that... =(.

@cactus
well they said 6 months after japanese releases...and they are trying to cut that, so Q1-Q2 2010 america, Q3-Q4 europe.-
and yes the demo its 5gb!
A 5 GB demo? Thats bullshit. No Demo should be that large and after Sony's recent conference on Gamespot.com, Gamespot employees played the Japanese demo. Trust me....they can pump out a demo....SE are just bullshitting.
No, he's right. The demo takes up 5.9 GB of space. Just 1 hour of gameplay.
I highly doubt the demo will be an hour long. 1 hour is long enough to get to know the character before the full game, which is spoiling the game. Demos are only to be used to see if the consumer likes the gameplay and concept of the title enough to buy it.
Well, it took me about 1 hour and 5 minutes to beat the demo my first time through.
Second time it took me less than 45 minutes.
1 hour into a game isn't a demonstration, it's a minigame. If Bioware gave me an hour of Mass Effect 2 to play before the full game came I wouldn't play it.
Well being that Mass Effect 2 is going to play the same way as Mass Effect, then I wouldn't care either.
The goal of this demo was give a taste of the very new, innovative battle system. It succeeded.
Who told you that ME2 was going to play the same as ME? The devs said the battle system has far more depth as pertaining to the second act of the story and it will only get better. Plus, they took criticism and tips from the fans as to what to put into the battle system. I don't think you fully understand what ME2 is going to be. I've seen the Japanese demo of FFXIII and it is boring compared, even though I'm still getting the game. FFXIII is the last chance I'm giving to JRPG's, when I really should've spent my money buying Fallout 3 instead of pre-ordering FFXIII.
Far more depth isn't a large change or innovation, just an improvement. An expansion of the foundation already created.
There is a large difference between the combat of FF12 and FF13.
What difference is there between the battle system in 12 and 13? I really don't see any. You can still roam while in a fight, and attack in the same manner. Versus is the game which will have the different battle system, which is the only reason I purchased the PS3 version of FFXIII.
