I loved Bushido Blade myself, but the biggest problem with videogames the people who play them, is the length which creates value in a match. Take mainstream music for instance, in the way that most people cannot appreciate music over 4-5 minutes in duration. This is why they make song 3-4 minutes, instead of 7-10 so the artist can true their true genius and musical realism. With fighting they want the match to be long and drawn out as not to disrupt the value of the character, having close and climactic matches. Take multiple matches into account, where you one person wins another match....one might assume the person should be dead, when in truth it really means they were knocked down long enough, but get up for the next phase of battle. In your favorite cartoons, shows or movies, how long did your favorite fights take? 2-3 minutes tops?....see what I mean now?
