So if I really detest sports games and will never play it, probably wont even take it out of its little cardboard folder... I paid for something I dont even want... and yet that counts as a sale? Even if I opened it and played it and it got very old after the first week... it is still something I may not have wanted to pay for but did....

I still say it hasnt SOLD anything in the west, it is a free non-essential item in the box.... If I say to the guy behind the counter, tell you what keep the wii sports... and he says ok... it is still full price.

My boyfriend bought me Shinobi for the PS2 for Christmas the first year we were together. The game is horrible, unplayable and boring (my opinion). I played it 15-30 minutes tops but it still counts as a sale for the game even if it was barely played.

why cant people just answer this....

It is either a FORCED sale or a FREE item..... in either event its SALES figures are therefore meaningless.

agree or disagree... if you disagree.. why? and make it sensible please.

I agree.  It is just another item in the box.  The real reason to buy the Wii during the holidays of '06 was Zelda:  Twilight Princess.

I bought it on November 19th 2006 for BOTH Wii Sports and Twilight Princess but without the Wiimote/Wiisports I would have probably bought TP on Gamecube and waited before I got into this gen.
