It wouldn't be a bad idea, except that Nintendo characters aren't in the same world in each game, where as disney's characters (except for Mickey, Donald and Goofy, not that we see their homeworld anyway) are in the same location in each of their movies.
Mario might be in mushroom kingdom, but that place changes from game to game. Which do you pick? Same with Zelda, Hyrule is always different. Which of the numerous places Samus has been would you choose? Where as lion king 1 will always be at pride rock, Aladdin in agraba and little mermaid in alantis, Nintendo characters aren't as known for where they live.
Also, the character model clashes may work well in smash bros, they only work in KH because of the distinct difference between S-E characters and Disney's. Why would i want Sora to meet Link or Samus? (who are "realistic" in their designs).
But the sales of the game would be colossal (Disney + Nintendo + S-E).
