I don't care what kind of animal they are, point is, they remind me a lot of they predecessor. I dunno what the hell is a starling, but I see Starly and I can't help ot think "this is Pigdey with a coat of paint". And I get the same with every other Pokemon I listed, and probably more. I just think they're running out of ideas. With gen 1 and 2, the Pokemon felt fresh, and thus the games were memorable, now it seems like they're rehashing them and keep the old, tried, true but also stale formula to keep launching games. I think the series is in need either a complete makeover (which, with how things look like, it's impossible). Since that won't happen, at least a remake of the best game will be good, since here I won't be disappointed when things are TOO MUCH THE SAME

And for Farfetch'd's evo or pre, don't cherry pick, but just wait till the next gen, you'll probably see it there anyway

 

 

 This just makes me think that in YOUR opinion, the formula is tired and YOU think that it's old.
