Man, learn to add. First you say Wii components cost $150, as you yourself said that's what Nintendo needs to sell the console at to break even.
So... how the hell is $150 5x less than $250?
Put another way: I don't think anyone here (apart from the eBayers during the post-launch frenzy) paid $750 (5x) for their Wii at retail.
You must be confused with another console... oh yeah... it's the PS3 that's selling at those prices...
