Not liking something that a lot of people love doesn't make it bad, but the other side of that coin is that someone liking something you think is bad doesn't make them wrong or unfit to voice their opinion.
If his original post had said, "I hated Blue Dragon, are you for real? Square Enix all the way, FFVII and Chrono Cross were two of the best RPGs I've ever played," I would have disagreed with his opinion but not taken issue with the post. What irks me is that he says, "When Mistwalker has a game that gets above a 9 their fans will have room to talk..." I'm sorry, but just because you and some reviewer think FFVIII is cooler than Blue Dragon doesn't mean people who think otherwise are mongoloids who should be locked away and prevented from saying so. |
