Sorry for slightly catastrophic thread title.

What I'm talking about is this.

 

I have noticed before that the 'total sales' column of a game is not always correct, or at least not always corresponding to the numbers you get from the charts or the graphs. And given todays thread of GTA IV (360) passing 7 million, the following occured to me.

It appears the 'total sales' number is calculated from the sum of the rounded sales of each of the three territories. In the worst case scenario, this could mean that the total sales number could be off by aproximately 15 000 units. It would be better to summarize the total amount of units sold instead, which would lead to the standard 5000 units error margin on the number.

Indeed, you may already be aware of this problem, and find it inconsequential or not worth fixing. If so, I apologise for making a dupelicate thread/taking up your time. I hope this is not the case, and that a better solution can be found.
