Nah, it's more like a Pikmin game: the reason they sometimes call it an "RPG" is that it has some elements from Harvest Moon (you're commanding individuals with their own lives/families/schedules/etc.) rather than replaceable Pikmin.

But like I said, it is still fairly lengthy (around 20 hours), so it's probably disqualified anyways.
