Which is rather perplexing coming from Ubisoft. They tend to make their games with a minimal effort but maximum mainstream appeal to generate high sales, but everything about this game seems niche. No multiplayer, Sci-Fi western, lesser emphisis on gunplay and cel-shaded graphics...it's like thier asking for disappointing sales. So either they're setting this game up to flop so they can justifiy putting out more of their shovelware, or they actually care about the quality of the game and don't care about sales...which would be the first time they've done this since BGaE.

Or they don't think those actually lead to lower sales, which seems to be something a lot of gamers still think. There is no magic formula for what leads to better or worse sales.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
