I just don't get it. Why won't Nintendo make another FPS for the Wii?

I think Nintendo should expand the Metroid series more. Let Retro have more freedom with it. Possible even make it darker and add a little sex appeal? After all. the whole point of the original Metroid was that there was a sexy girl under that suit. I think Metroid should become like.. Nintendo's flagship M rated series. I know it'll never happen, but it would be interesting I think anyways.
