It's a shame that Popcorn's other release did not get as much loving as Ninjabread Man.

Anubis II review from IGN:

2.0 Presentation
No mention of the story in the game and a blatant, shameful rehash of a PS2 title
that came out two years ago. 1 point awarded for rumble in the menus.

1.5 Graphics
The famous mantra, "The Wii is capable of so much more" is moot, as the N64 puts this game to shame. Horrible textures, models, animations, and particle "effects".

1.5 Sound
Pathetic, sparse sound effects accompanied by a grossly out-of-place soundtrack. .5 awarded for the option to turn off the audio.

1.0 Gameplay
The tacked on Wii controls and poor combat will have you running through the levels, avoiding contact with enemies as much as possible.

1.5 Lasting Appeal
If by some means you're tied to a chair, eyes pried open Clockwork Orange style, and forced to endure all nine levels, there's a nifty time attack mode as a bonus for such a fine display of masochism.

2.0
Terrible OVERALL
(out of 10 / not an average)
