OK Bitmap you are really sounding like a fucking tool and you need to take a deep breath. This news is in fact very positive for Sony. The figures show adjusted revenues including 2 regions in which MS has an install base advantage. We also know that MS has a larger sell through in software in both regions. From this there would be a belief that multiplat support would decrease for the PS3. But, the figures actually reveal the opposite and that revenues per unit sold are higher on Sony's console. This financial position means exclusivity for games in 2010 may be negligible which is the best news for gamers everywhere. And precisely the point Box was making. Calm the fuck down and enough with the personal attacks.

Box made a crappy post ignoring some basic facts just to squeeze some propaganda out of it. He deserves the roasting.

I've already stated ps3 support will remain strong, but Box's original reason as to why was incorrect - as he was in a hurry to put a positive spin on it. This whole back and forth is happening because he didnt swallow too well his original misunderstanding of the figures.

My point wasn't predicated on Sony staying ahead in revenue, period.  It was predicated on a good showing in Ubi revenues, which is what happened.

My only misunderstanding was of your point, which originally you said was about the difference between Euros and Dollars -- but that was incorrect: you were trying to say something about the change in exchange rates over time.

I've entered threads and mentioned that Sony would have trouble right now dropping PS3  price in the US in part because the yen is like 20% stronger right now than its historical average of the last decade or so.  See how I actually said what I meant?  I wouldn't come into the thread, if I wanted to make that point, and say, "Yen and Dollars are different."  Like an idiot.  Then, I wouldn't say someone was stupid for not following what I'm ineptly trying to say, nor would I later lie and say I was laying a trap for the other person.  To spell it out for you, that's what you did.

Again, you don't like me to say positive things about Sony, so you objected.  Very poorly.

Again, good showing!
