Referring to mere currency differences isn't the same as referring to the change in exchange rate over time, which is what you needed to mention.  You failed to communicate correctly; you referred to a comparison that had no bearing on the discussion, and thus you were wrong.  You got it on about your third attempt, though.

I'm glad you think things other than strong PS3 sales indicate that PS3 will have strong support going forward; sales also contribute, and I say you're wrong to deny that.  If PS3 games weren't selling as well, Ubi would feel more free to go exclusive with more games.  Thus, this sales report is good for PS3.  Oh noes!  Bitmap Frogs says that's propaganda!!

I referred to moneyhatting as an exception to my statement that Ubi releases would probably be multiplat b/c the PS3 versions were selling well.  If Ubi receives money/extra incentive, then of course an exclusive is more likely.  It's perfectly true and it's common sense.

It's good that you brought that up again in this last post, along with your annoyances about my username and avatar again.  Hell yeah, I picked those when I went from lurker to poster, prompted by everything starcraft was saying on these message boards.  I was pissed at his FUD, which back then was way worse than it is now.

Anyway, anyone reading our exchange would see that you abandon multiple lines of the argument each exchange, pick one to maintain, then I argue on that point, maybe to have you abandon parts of that as well.  What if we went back and dredged up all the points you've abandoned?

Good showing, man.

So let me get this straight, you basically picked your username and avatar to troll the boards? [1]

While there was a lot of /effort in that post, it still neglects the core of the issue (something you apparently hold dearly): you misinterpreted financial data due to your lack of knowledge on these matters in order to spew some pro-Sony spin. You didn't care about what the issue was, you only cared that you could twist it into nice Sony PR. This behaviour, of course, matches your self-confessed agenda-driven forum identity and posting. [2]

The rest of what you posted was crap, often infused with personal attack.  Anyway:

1. No, initially to argue against what I saw as trolling and FUD.  How wrong is that, given that everyone can see from this exchange that I do stick to the substance of the discussion and don't add vitriolic comments like you do, except maybe when you can manage to draw out one or two by continued belittlement.  But you get a free pass b/c of a difference in username and avatar, huh?  lol.

2. No, I didn't misinterpret the data.  I didn't say that Sony would definitely come out on top in subsequent years or anything.  What I said was that it boded well for continued Ubisoft support, and that was true.  You just don't like what I said, and that's the source of your objections.

As always between me and you: you don't like what I'm saying, so you'll come in with mean pissy comments.  But I think here, as before, I've pretty much wiped the floor with you.

You didn't write clearly.  Fail.

You didn't read correctly what I wrote quite clearly.  Fail.
