Apparently my laptop passes minimum and recommended... i cant believe that to be honest... any tech experts give me their opinion based on this....

Your laptop is pretty good and should be able to run Crysis on medium at about 720P equivalent res (maybe a little lower if you want a stable framerate). It won't look like the youtube video but you should be able to play most games on medium at the very least.
