If I was a game developer I would consider the following:

1) make 1 game for 3 platforms as the 3 are hardcore gamers platforms

2) make 1 game for a system which is known to be shifting mostly shovelware

3) do a combo of 1+3

If I make a sports game, will ninth allow me to compete against their own franchises?

If I make a hardcore game, will it sell enough to make my money back?

If I make a game for the 3 platforms, I have 3 times the chance of making my money back and the potential to make 3 times the profit.

To me, it is a no brainer. I would go with the 3 since it is less time consuming, less risky and possibly can make me the most money.

If it's your own money on the line, your thinking takes a radically different approuch.

What I don't understand is what ninty are doing with their monies? Why font they do what Sony has started this gen, start releasing quality inhouse ip's. It's not like they don't have enough money and if what ninty supporters say is true ( cheaper to make a wii game), then ninty should be blasting out quality titles from their oven!
