A few thoughts.
First of all, we all need to relax. Unless we work for one of these companies, very little to do with sales is going to have an impact in our lives. (Yes, it might mean a game here or there will or will not be released, but we still have food to eat and places to live).
Second, it is unfortunately true that some people come to this site not to discuss but to disrupt. I find it interesting and instructional that the person who has been most disruptive is now absent from this discussion.
Third, the differences between the two consoles in question appear to be within the margin of error (as they have been most weeks).
Fourth, relative goals make no sense. Calling a game that is a re-release that has sold 130k-140k a failure and calling a sequel game that sold 40k-50k a success makes no sense. Software vendors care about total sales, not market (It is proper to say one might be higher or lower than expected or discussing some things in relative terms -- but the absolute labeling is over-the-top).

I am Mario.I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble. Wii Friend Code: 1624 6601 1126 1492 NNID: Mike_INTV |
