thanks for the technical information, this clear all doubts

And, for good measure...

...same street corners for these two games

Also, notice the missing shadows in the highly lit areas on PGR4.

This comparison here reinforces my opinion. The reflections are much better in PGR4 on the car. And also the buildings in GT5P are way way way to dark. The PGR4 screenshots look more real in colour. Especially the sky. Both games are missing stuff, but PGR4 looks more real in these comparisons.

Thanks for the find. :)

Lol, it is painstakingly obvious that the gamma adjustment on the GT shots there are wayyyy down. You can't even see the dashboard and the people in some shots are like shadows and in one shot you almost can't see the white lines on the road. The length some folks go to to make a game appear worse looking than it is simply staggers me (not you selnor, the guy who made this "comparison"). If something looks good, just tone down the lights on the TV till you can't see anything. Seriously, its like Alone in the Dark!

I mean, look at this \/! It doesn't look like that at all in real life! Can't you see that the gamma has been adjusted waaay down? In some of the interior shots you can't even see the outline of the dials or the dash itself!
