i think this all stemmed from a miyamoto interview quote about a year ago.
the interview was basically miyamoto realised that more work and polish could have been done on twilight princess and super mario galaxy.
he then said something along the lines of he would love to make a sequel to super mario galaxy using the same engine (this is what happend to majora's mask. they basically used the ocarina of time engine and made the game in about a year.)
this of course doesnt mean much. heck, miyamoto said three years ago that pikmin would be a perfect fit for the wii's controls.
