But those PS3 sales are really really low. Sony has to do something. None of the exclusives seems to be swaying many buyers. Problem is M$ will have big hitters at the end of the year. Price point saturation. It's been at 400$/€ since November 2007. 

We will see a price drop this year, the question is when.

Indeed the first price cut was forced upon them too early in the consoles lifespan so they've had to suffer this long period at that price point. They do at least have the price cut option though so it's not all doom and gloom.
