Yeah...because it had what? 2-300 games total. PS3 had over 8000 (including games never released outside of Japan). It's like the latest study saying the PS3 attach ratio is higher than the Wii's.....but the Wii has 50 million units in consumer homes, so it's harder to maintain a high attach rate

xbox had 219 above 80.

ps2 had 320 above 80.

So basically of those 8000 ps2 games, most were crappy shovelware (like the wii now days).

Just thought you should know that the PS3 has 226 games that score UNDER 80 on Metacritic,  the 360 has a stunning 471 games that score UNDER 80.  So I guess its M$ that is putting out crappy shovelware as you put it.

BTW, Metacritic is a list of games that have at least 5 reviews, it is not a list of available games.

There is about a 150 more games for the 360 than the PS3 which most people could care less about.  Compare that to the PS2 that has 2000 more games than the xbox.  That is a huge difference there.
