Are sales of SD media, namely DVDs, falling as sales of HD media, discs and TVs, rise? They aren't. So the claim that Wii sales will drop with HD hitting mainstream has NO PROOF IT WILL HAPPEN.
Besides, it's not like the Wii is 4:3, 480i, composite, with analog signal. It supports all the output standards in HDTVs, except for HD resolutions: 16:9, 480p, component, and digital signal.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
