After Nintendo moves to a 65nm process the Wii could potentially be reduced to half its size if Nintendo replaced the optical drive with one from a laptop. In 2009, when they switch over to a 45nm process, Nintendo should be able to integrate the CPU and GPU onto one chip, use a top loading optical drive and manufacture the systems inexpensively enough to sell them in China to more average consumers.
