Hmm... I don't recall Bioshock being a rail shooter, yet it guided me all over the place.  There was an arrow that constantly pointed the direction to go.

In bioshock i remember being able to walk in the direction i wanted.

I hope you are just being facetious. You really don't see a difference between Bioshock what this game looks to be?

I see the difference.  But when I play shooters I'm basically doing a speedrun anyway, so it might as well be on-rails.
