yes, but the card reader had far more potential in existing genres of gaming and even had the pokemon card game to back it, and it still failed. The PS-Eye may be more than a card reader, but that's pretty much all it does now and all we know it will ever do. And being on an unpopular console at nearly four times the cost without even a successful card game to back it, what benefit of the doubt do you want us to really give the PS-Eye here.
