Some of his games might, but I don't think Mario will keep his glory forever. One day, Miyamoto is gone, and Mario games probably wont be the same.

...excuse me? O_O;

Ever heard of... "death"?

No, you're gonna have to enligten me on that subject.

Mario will die eventually. It's just a question of time. The Miis could be one of the first steps towards it, as all the "Mario Sports" could be replaced by "Sports with Miis".

It's gonna take a hell of a long time though.

- Mario has sold more this gen than any non-Nintendo series has all time.

- Games with Mario in the title have accounted for 8-9% of the total software sales this gen.

- And 14% of all the software sold on Nintendo machines

- Or 25-30% of the total Nintendo-Published games this gen. (35% without Wii Sports + Play).
