I want to mention that Moster Hunter might not sell as well as we expect. Animal Crossing, which did amazing on the DS, didn't fare as well on the Wii.
I think the Wii is more likely. The sales increase is only recent and we are already calling a winner (or even a race). Wii has been starved for games since last year. Nintendo has been bad about releasing titles for the Wii. The big reason for the drop may simply be the lack of titles. I assume Nintendo's goal at E3, with the threat of Sony and Microsoft motion controller pushed aside for some time, is to try and spring interest on the Wii. I'm hoping their goal will be to try and slam the Wii with content.
