When it comes to gameplay, somewhat. Not TOO high but I have my minimal requirements. When it comes to a story driven game, YES!!! If it fails, I don't even check for the story... If we're talking about RPG's then Yes, I have a high standard when it comes to a good story and set of characters.
I think it depends on the genre really... Like for racers, I just would be just fine with 20 really good cars, as long as they all have their plus and minuses and are different but decent. While I have high standards on what kind of tracks are in the game. I want shortcuts, alternate routes, and nice scenery...
