HD is a given -- because it rapidly becoming the standard.
The time frame is probably open to debate because of the global economic situation. One out of 12 workers in the US is out of a job. In Spain it is one out of six. The length of the recovery will probably push the next generation to at least 2012.
The experience will be something familiar but out of left field (unexpected). We might be better able to determine direction after E3 to see where Nintendo plans to go in the next six months.
