Neither Sony or Microsoft could ever pull a Nintendo. Nintendo actually makes their own games and I don't mean by buying IP's. They are the only real game company. Sony and Microsoft are just corporations who want a piece of the pie. Nintendo decides the quality of their first party IP's and they don't leave it up to other devs.
