If you didn't notice, most of us were saying it will be in HD... as in 1080p.... there will be no reason for it not to by then because it's likely well over 50% of people buying consoles will have a 1080p TV.
The previous post of mine was in reference to you saying there "might be something better than 1080p" by 2013... which is a silly thing to say, because:
First of all higher resolutions than 1080p are already possible (and have been on PCs for a long time)
Second of all the number of people willing to buy new TVs again in 2013 when 1080p TVs have not been mainstream for more than 6-7 years would be miniscule.... which is why no manufacturer will be making TVs with higher than 1080p for a good 10 years at least, if not a good deal longer (except of course in small dedicated tech circles, ie most TV manufacturers have already made superHD tvs, but you can't exactly go into Dixons and buy one now)
