why all the arguing and less thinking about the question? LOL
The question is does Sony want to succeed. Duh, ofcourse they do. Anyone think otherwise is plain stupid.
However, from what people are assuming, you should consider the following:
1. This generation isn't over yet. Things can change.
2. Arguing over BR is silly. Millions of BRs being sold is a success, especially in this financial climate.
3. BRs are dropping in price. I've seen 2 for £20 offers on new BRs. Sales will increase as price drops.
4. What were sony's long term and short term goals?
5. Had they sold more consoles, they would have made a bigger loss. Sony knew this and analysts know this, morons know this. So how badly has it gone for them!? Commonsense tells me, if I was Sony, I would want to shift consoles when they are breaking even or profiting not making me a loss.
6. With Home, the integration and socializing features as well as the ps3 being a all in one, do Sony have another agenda that fanboys cannot see?
Instead of assuming and arguing, do what the wise Greeks would do. Think, question, analyse and apply logic.
