I think whether you like it or not motion controls are the way of the future. Motion controls are great when implemented the right way like in Zack and Wiki and Wario Ware. There is no doubt Sony and Microsoft are going to have motion controls for each hand next gen much like the Wii and nunchuks. Why? Because sales show that's what the masses want, it brings new gameplay experiences, opens up more gameplay possibilities for developers etc.

Now just because it has motion controls doesn't mean every game will use it. The wiimote, in my opinion, is the most brilliant controller because it is so versatile. You can turn it on its side, use the wiimote/nunchuck combo, or use it has a pointer.

This argument doesn't fly imho. Right now, with the Wii craze at its peak (over its peak in Japan) we have 49m motion-control consoles vs 51m traditional. How does that prove that waggle has won, exactly? For me, motion control is fun for a while but ultimately it lacks the precision a quality game requires, at least in its current form.

In answer to the OP, if the PS4 had a Wiimote I wouldn't consider it for purchase. If it had a much more accurate and refined motion-control system (which is what I'd expect from Sony) then I would probably buy it.
