 Its not abt small or large loss. point is that they were posting profit for last so many quarters. So suddenly going into loss is definitely hurting. and also i don't think zune have anything worthwhile in this division. although i may completely be wrong.

But in my view they have lost 31 + 106 million. instead of simple 31 million loss, cuz they are going down from +106 to -31.

Seeing these result i believe Sony can be much worse.

 

The price cut combined with the huge volume of hardware sales is probably for something in the loss..

At least Sony did not have a pricecut compared to 1 year ago
