Why aren't more people upset about Wii Motion Plus?

I'm pissed off that Nintendo didn't give me the choice to pay £100(?) for a 1:1 wiimote at release. I'd have preffered to pay the premium then instead of a cheaper version today if supported.

Why aren't 360 and PS3 owners more upset that most games aren't true HD and hardly any are true 1080p? Maybe it's because most of what's been delivered so far has been more than acceptable.
