Anyone know of any new characters that should/may be in the next SSB?

I'd like to see SSB:Nintendo vs Sega, featuring the usual roster for Nintendo and characters from Golden Axe, Steets of Rage, Sonic, Alex Kidd, Wonderboy, Alien Storm etc. for Sega. Doubt it's on the cards, though.

Why has there never been a DS version? Seems a no-brainer to me.
