It proved that not only could you make a FPS play very good but also sell great. And yes Goldeneye had a big impact as well. See no huge change comes to gaming with a single release its a couple building blocks that help form it. And theres no question Halo was one of these building blocks for console FPS. |
and what did Halo do exactly? GoldenEye has vehicle controls (it did have the tank you could drive).
