World History or *insert your country here* history?

To say that the USA has little or no History is being a liitle naive. Oddly enough I am trying to think of something that the British has done in the last hundred years or so of any importance at all.

Besides Britain has done sh!t loads in the last hundred years, in fact we had a little thing called the British empire, the height of which was about 100 years ago, you may have heard of it.
