If Microsoft matches Sony price cut, would the PS3 still do "gangbusters"?

It wouldn't matter.
MS is already at a reasonable price.
A lot of consumers simply can't afford to shell out 400$ for a console.
It's not about which console is a better deal, but which price is actually feasible
